On Friday the 27th of November I had the honor to participate as accredited international journalistto the Luxury Advertising Awards at the Palacio de Congresos In Marbella (Spain). One of the most glamorous cities in the world, with the presence of big brands, it is the symbol of high quality tourism and one of the most important cities in the world where beauty and elegance, lux and emotional advertising live together.
The Luxury Advertising Awards gala is a festival full of glamour, where you really understand the importance of the communication strategy for any luxury and premium brand.A very effective way to convey the philosophy of the company and at the same time get in touch with customers and influencer. The Mayor of Marbella José Bernal did not want to miss the appointment with the advertising in the city and said a few words of welcome and appreciation to all the presents.
The Luxury and Premium Brands Advertising Festival of Marbella has awarded a total of 52 awards including 17 advertising agencies and 14 young talents in the industry, an exclusive selection after more than 700 applications received. In addition, 10 special mentions for agencies and leader advertisers and 4 honorary awards. The honorary awards were handed over to Woman Madame Figaro Magazine , Richy Castellanos, the model Andrés Velencoso and the American jewelry brandTiffany & Co by the TV presenter Patricia Betancort, the organizer Mary Cansino and Her Royal Highness Princess Béatrice d 'Orléans.
Fundación Mundo Ciudad, the organizer of the Luxury Awards, has allocated 200,000€ in scholarships to the the Festival winners. Both agencies as young talents starting their professional career with few resources but with great enthusiasm, as directors or producers, was granted a Master. They could choose between Masters in Environment and RSC, Masters in Advertising and Marketing and RSC or Master MBA RSC worth 3,995€ each one. On the other hand, Fundación Mundo Ciudad, has awarded an Excellent Program DBA for the most awarded agencies managers of the evening, worth € 25,000€ each one.
During the gala we could appreciate some good entertainment. The performance of Ana and Antonella with their dancers who sang the summer hit "Marbella Nights" by opening the prestigious event with great enthusiasm. Later on the charming Flamenco dancer Juan de Juan performed a great show.
